Gaythel "Gail" Howland, 82, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away, Oct. 27, 2022 in Community Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, July 21, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Sadie Fox Boggs.

Preceded in death besides her parents are her husband, Jimmy Howland, 1996, one daughter, Sherry Howland, 2015, three brothers, Don Boggs, Albert Boggs and James Boggs, one sister, Zelma Hoffer.

Surviving are one daughter, Lisa Howland of South Shore, Kentucky, son, David (Davina) Howland of South Shore, Kentucky, grandchildren, Lynne (John) Piwko and Alishia (Cody) Sullivan all of Huntsville, Alabama, great-grandchildren, Luke, Riley, Cash, Rory and Finn Sullivan, special friends Julie and Randy Craycraft and her dog, Wesley, a host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Arthur Moore, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m. on Monday.
