Gary Dean Sparks, 46, of Portsmouth, Ohio, passed away, March 19, 2021 at Southern Ohio Medical Center. He was born in Portsmouth, June 24, 1974, a son of Kathy Yazell Sparks and the late Hank Sparks.

Surviving are three children, Gary Dean Sparks Jr., Joshua David Sparks both of South Shore, KY, April Howard of Portsmouth, mother, Kathy Sparks of South Shore, KY, sister, Chrissy Dawn Bradley of Portsmouth, brother, Barrett (Joyce) Sparks of South Portsmouth, KY.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Rev. Raymond Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow in Firebrick Cemetery, Friebrick, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Wednesday. Due to Covid restrictions, face covering and social distancing are required.
