Fredia Evans, 91, of Firebrick, Kentucky went to her Heavenly Home on Jan. 28, 2022. She was born in Firebrick, Kentucky, Sept. 1, 1930, a daughter of the late Chester Brown and Sarah Stewart Brown, a member of the Firebrick Christian Baptist Church.

Preceded in death besides her parents are her husband, Johnny Evans, sisters, Janice Boggs, Marlene Curtis, Dorothy Wright, Jean Hall, brothers, Donald Brown and Harold Brown, grandson Randal Bradley, great grandson, Eli Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Thomas Evans of Firebrick, KY, Rodney (Pamela) Evans of South Shore, KY, four daughters, Retha (Odith) Smith of Quincy, KY, Talena (Walter) Gwinn of South Portsmouth, KY, Tammy (Kevin) Tucker of South Portsmouth, KY and Brenda (Claude) Bradley of Firebrick, KY, seventeen grandchildren, Odith (Ashley) , Chasitity (Claude), Nekota (Mike), Tabitha (Jason), Lacy, John, Cassie, Walter, Chessica (Eric), Randy and Nicole, thirty five great-grandchildren,, twelve great great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, February, 1, 2022 at the Firebrick Christian Baptist Church with Rodney Evans and Rev. Raymond Lewis, officiating. Burial will follow in the Firebrick Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. till the service hour at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.
