Frank Eugene Evans, 82, of South Portsmouth, Ky., passed away Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Greenup County, Ky., June 19, 1931 a son of the late Thomas Evans and Elizabeth Salyers Evans. He was a member of the South Portsmouth Antioch United Baptist Church in South Portsmouth, Ky., and a U.S. Army Veteran. Preceded in death by two brothers Talmadge Evans and John Evans, and one sister Pearl Lewis. Surviving are his wife Norma Roe Evans of South Portsmouth, Ky., two sons Roger "Judy" Evans of Powdersprings, Ga., and Keith "Cindy" Evans of West Portsmouth, Oh., one daughter Norita (Rita) "Jim" Stith of South Shore, Ky., four brothers Paul Evans of Minford, Oh., Kenny "Mary" Evans of Firebrick, Ky., Bill "Dona" Evans of Minford, Oh., and Jimmy Evans of Columbus, Oh., two sisters Thelma "Leonard" Ruggles of Rubyville, Oh., and Nola Brown of Firebrick, Ky. Frank was also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 11 A.M.  Friday, June 13, 2014 at the South Portsmouth Antioch United Baptist Church with Elder Lewis Bair and Elder Tony Blair, officiating.  Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens South Portsmouth, Ky. Friends may call at the Church Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 10 A.M. till the funeral hour on Friday. Military Graveside Services by James L.
