Everett Cole Sr., 83, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Edgewood Manor in Lucasville, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on December 6, 1942, to the late Walter Bruce and Hester Ramey Cole.

Everett was a proud United States Army veteran and a retired Laborer from Local 83 in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by one grandchild, Jeff Dunn, five brothers: Bruce, James, Roy, Bob, and Walter Cole, and three sisters: Ruth Webb, Janet Lee Cole, and Nellie Cole.

He is survived by two sons, Dean (Ashley) Cole and Everett (Kim) Cole, both from West Portsmouth, Ohio. He also leaves behind six grandchildren, Holly Cole of West Portsmouth, Ohio; Trenton (Emily) Cole of Piketon, Ohio; Corey (Alyssa) Dyer of Portsmouth, Ohio; Aaron (Cassandra) Dyer of West Portsmouth, Ohio; and Chad N. Dunn of South Carolina. Additionally, he is remembered by nine great-grandchildren, along with several other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.

In honor of Everett's wishes, there will be no service at this time. He is under the care of Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky.
