Eva Thompson, 90, of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord, April 29, 2015 in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio, She was born July 6, 1924 in South Shore, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Edward Royal and Minnie Gholson Royal. Eva was a member of the Bethlehem United Methodist Church, South Shore, Kentucky.0 Surviving are one son, Robert "Phyllis" Thompson of South Shore, Kentucky, five grandchildren, Deborah Sowards, Daniel Thompson, Deanna Potter, Sharon Moore and Jerry Thompson, thirteen great grandchildren, sixteen great great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her husband, Alonzo W. Thompson, March 4, 2009, three sisters, Pauline Wolfenbarker, Alma Holbrook and Helen Perdue, one brother, Robert Royal. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Bill Riggs, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 and from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M. on Friday.
