Etta Mae Barney, 97, of Portsmouth, Ohio went to her heavenly home on Jan. 16, 2022 at the Rosemount Pavilion Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky, Nov. 16, 1924, a daughter of the late Wesley Corns and Glenna Huffman Corns. Etta was a member of the Dry Run Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Barney, April 21, 2011, two brothers and four sisters.

Surviving are one sister, Faye Broughton of McComb, Ohio, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Mark Seevers, officiating. Burial will follow in Siloam Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till 11 a.m. on Thursday.
