Esther Adaline "Addie" Adkins, 91, of South Shore, Kentucky went home to be with her Lord, June 22, 2017 in South Shore Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Greenup County, Kentucky,   Jan. 21, 1926, a daughter of the late Joe C. Adkins and Etta Mae Corns Adkins. She was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ in St. Paul, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her former husband, Averal Billups, two brothers, Newt Adkins and Cecil Adkins, three sisters, Ethel Weaver, Mable Messer and Hazel Musser, one son, Don Billups, daughter-in-law, Ella Mae Green Billups, granddaughters Angela Billups and Jenny Dillow.

Surviving are three daughters, Helen Ann (Andy) Haynes of Jekyll Island, Georgia, Leona (Montie) Tarr, Kathy (Ron) Dillow both of South Shore, Kentucky, one son, Jimmy (Marilyn) Billups of South Shore, Kentucky, fifteen grandchildren, twenty nine great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Evangelist Kevin Yeager and Jack Lawhun, officiating. Burial will follow in Logan Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. Saturday and one hour before service time on Sunday.
