Ernest Roe, 57, of South Shore, KY., went to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 13, 2025. He was born in Columbus, OH., on February 15, 1967, a son of Martha Carver Roe and the late Earl Ernest Roe.

He was a proud Union crane operator out of Local 181.

Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his wife Charlene Betina Hayes Roe.

Left behind to cherish his memory along with his mother are three daughters, Kimberly Dawn (Cody Ray) Riley of South Shore, KY., Heather Ann (Nathan Ryan) Miller of Grayson, KY., and Elizabeth Brooke (Raynes Herchel) Hall of South Shore, KY; eleven grandchildren, Destiny, Elaina, Elijah, Nicholas, Nathan JR, Owen, Mianna, Gavyn Martinez, Haley Martinez, Ethan Martinez and Mariana Martinez; along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 P.M. Monday, February 24, 2025, at MT Zion Apostolic Church 1514 16th Street West Portsmouth, OH 45663, with Pastor George Gravley officiating. Gathering for family and friends will be at the church Monday from 11 A.M. until the service hour. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
