Eduardo Alonso 83, of Louisville, KY., passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Mary & Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was born in Havana, Cuba October 23, 1940 a son of the late Pedro Fernando Alonso and Marie Luis.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Thomas Alonso Luis.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his companion for many years Celeida Hernandez Garcia; two sons, Eduardo (Estrella Lopez) Alonso Hernandez of Louisville, KY., and Fernando (Traci Faulks) Alonso Hernandez of South Shore, KY; one sister, Adalaida Alonso Luis; six grandchildren, Gretel Alonso, Eduardo Alonso, Giselle Alonso, Idorquis Alonso, Arletys Alonso and Fernando Alonso; two great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Graveside services will be 1 P.M. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Hernandez-Faulks Cemetery 530 Miller Farm Rd South Shore, KY., with Mike Dempsey officiating. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
