Edith Faye Morris, 86, of Portsmouth, OH., passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Heartland of Portsmouth in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Pikeville, KY., December 2, 1931, survived by her husband Deward Morris Jr of 50 years. Faye was the daughter of the late Harlen and Thelma Gibson Hawkins.

Loving step mother of Shirley Baran, deceased (Michael), Sharon Kesterson (John), June Morris (Mike), George Morris (Lisa), Timothy Morris, and Trina Fenn (Alan) all of Cleveland, OH., 10 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Loving sister of Geneva Mortin of La Porte, IN., Lil (Joe) Newton of Warren MI., Lena Stiltner of Pikeville, KY., Bula (James) Hylton of Ashcamp, KY., Janice (Jimmy) Cole of Shelby, OH., and Lyvonn (John) Fisher of Shelby, OH., two brothers Arvin (Mary Lou) Hawkins of Shelby, OH., and Dave (Eveline) Hawkins of Marion, OH., preceded in death by two brothers Raymond Hawkins and Estil Hawkins; three sisters Gladys Cole, Shirley McPeek, Naomi Scott. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Pastor Scott Rawlings officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and two hours before the service on Wednesday.
