Obituary

Edgle Lee Burton, 89, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away, March 11, 2015 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 17, 1925 in Hitchins, Kentucky, a son of the late Charles Burton and Bessie Isaac Burton. Attended South Shore Church of God, WW II Navy Veteran and was a 32 second degree Mason, Harrison-Fullerton Lodge #937 and a Kentucky Colonel. Surviving are his wife, Pearl Davis Burton of South Shore, Kentucky, one daughter, Dianne Snyder of Phoenix, Arizona, step son, Tom Staten of Barberton, Ohio, step daughter, Bonnie Skaggs of West Portsmouth, Ohio, three grandchildren, Larry Boldman, Cheryl Leon and Sandra Warren, five great grandchildren, Mathew Leon, Krista Leon, Naomi Boldman, Violet Warren and Wyatt Warren. Preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi F. Burton, June 2, 1994, three brothers, Charles, Kline and Raymond Burton, three sisters, Loraine McGuire, Madge Chaffins and Jaunita Duncan. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at the Roberson Funeral Home with Rev. David Robirds, officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, Huntington, West Virginia. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 2015 and from 9 A.M. till the Funeral hour on Tuesday. Masonic services will be held at 7 P.M. on Monday, March 16, 2015 at the Funeral Home. Online condolences can be left for the family at robersonfuneral.com
