Dorothy Wagner Howerton, 95 of South Shore, KY, went to be with her Lord on Friday, February 27, 2026, at The Courtyard in Wheelersburg, OH. She was born in Walsh, KY, on June 5, 1930, a daughter of the late Adam and Mae Adkins Wagner.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Howerton, and one daughter, Linda Ratliff.

Left behind to cherish her memory are one daughter, Patricia Jacobs; five grandchildren, Randy Ratliff, Lori (Shawn) Brown, Jenifer (Mark) Webster, Emily (Randall) Beckman, and Adam Jacobs; five great-grandchildren, Taylor, Avery, Matthew, Alyssa, and Hannah; one great-great-grandchild and one on the way; special friends, Kenny Alexander, Lori (Bill) Perry, Betty Forbes, Diana Brown, along with several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY, with Kenny Fox officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until the funeral hour.
