Dolores Victoria Grubb, 83, of South Shore KY., passed away August 30, 2013 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born November 14, 1929 to the late Williams Owens and Mary Emily Nelson Owens. She was a retired school teacher from the Boyd County School System. Preceded in death by her husband Jack Grubb who passed away July 1, 2013. Surviving is her one son Charles "Sherry" Grubb of South Shore, KY., one step daughter Jacquie "Edgar" Ferguson of Huntington, WV., four sisters Thelma Owens of Ashland, KY., Betty "Nando" Felty of Summit, KY., Joan Cole of Ashland KY., and Carol "Gearold" Opell of Catlettsburg, KY. She is also survived by two Grandchildren Rebecca "Philip" Konopka of Vanceburg, KY., Jeremy "Emily" Grubb of South Shore, KY., and one step grand daughter Laura Ferguson of Huntington, WV. Funeral Services will be 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with David Boggs, officiating. Burial will be in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East Grayson, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 10 A.M. till the funeral hour at 11:30 A.M.
