Denver Leroy Ratcliff, 84, a former South Portsmouth, Kentucky resident went to be with his Lord, Jan. 2, 2018, in Bristol Rehab in Waverly, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, June 19, 1933, a son of the late Alex S. Ratcliff and Faitha Floyd. Denver spent 40 yrs at the Atomic Plant in Piketon, Ohio, after retirement he moved to Georgia where he enjoyed Fishing and Woodworking and was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Jackson, Georgia.

Preceded in death by three brothers, Harold, Lawrence and Alex Ratcliff.

Surviving are his wife, Ramona Conley Ratcliff to whom he married, June 21, 1952, one daughter, Bonnie (Chuck) Cleary of Lexington, Kentucky, one son, Jeff Ratcliff of Columbus, Ohio, three grandchildren, Josh Cleary, Joe (Michelle) Cleary and Tessa Ratcliff, five great-grandchildren, Owen Cleary, Wyatt Cleary, Finn Cleary, Violet Cleary and Oliver Ratcliff and a host of friends and former Co-workers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 5, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Darrell Stephenson, officiating. Burial will follow in Greene Cemetery, St. Paul, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M. on Friday.
