Denise Louise Smith, 48, of Raceland, Kentucky went to be with her Lord on Dec. 25, 2017. She was born in Sandy Hook, Kentucky, Feb. 3, 1969, a daughter of Jimmy Johnson and Helen Lore Johnson. Denise was a member of Serenity Baptist Church where her and Donnie were Charter Members.

Preceded in death by her brother, Eric Johnson.

Surviving are her husband, Donnie M. Smith to whom she married, April 8, 1987, one daughter, Courtny "Scott" Sigler of Russell, Kentucky, two brothers, Allen Gifford of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Jeff "Rhonda" Gifford of Grove City, Ohio, one sister, Bridgette Gifford of Port St. Johns, Florida. Denise was a proud Mimi of her two little puntins, Izaiah Sigler and Zander Sigler.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Mike Leslie, officiating and Kenny Imel doing Obituary and Eulogy. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M. on Friday.
