David Keith Potter, 68, of South Shore, KY., passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. He was born in Portsmouth, OH., on July 15, 1956.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lorene Hall Potter Barker; father, Ruben Potter JR and who he thought of as a father Ray Barker.

Left behind to cherish his memory are one son, David (Maddie Meade) Potter II; three brothers, Dwain Potter, Darrell (Nikki) Potter and Kevin Potter; two sisters, Sandy (Carl) Wilburn and Kathy (Terry) Harris; life-long friend, Heidi Lockhart; Ex-wife and dear friend, Heather Potter. Along with several other nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Jim Bo Osman officiating. Burial will follow at Warnock Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday at the funeral home from 10 A.M. until the funeral hour.
