David Lyons, 87, of South Shore, KY., went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 7, 2024 at his residence. He was born in South Shore, KY., January 24, 1937 a son of the late Ora and Pearl Stone Lyons.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Glen Roy Lyons; three sisters, JoAnn Adkins, Mary Ann Lyons and Mandy Ellen Lyons.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Barbara Ann Ray Lyons; one daughter, Eva Lyons; one sister, Mary Potter; five brothers, Ora "Truman" Lyons JR, Jesse Lyons, Franklin Lyons, Tony Lyons, Mark Lyons and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Monday, November 11, 2024 at MT Zion Apostolic Church 1514 16th Street West Portsmouth, OH., 45663 with Pastor George Gravely officiating. Burial will follow at Lyons Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday at the church from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
