Darlene Speck Taylor, 90, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away Nov. 30, 2016 at her residence. She was born in New Boston, Ohio, Aug. 8, 1926, a daughter of the late Fredrick Speck and Daisy Mae Ingles Speck. Darlene was a member of South Shore Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for many years, a Christian and a Protestant.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Milton Taylor, Dec. 6, 1983, two brothers, Paul Speck and Thurman Speck, one sister, Freda Nelson.
Surviving are one son Kenneth (Debbie) Taylor of South Shore, Kentucky, two daughters, Debbie (Wayne) Rose of Gallipolis, Ohio, Vicki (Randy) Collier of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, special daughter, Nancy Jo Hieneman of Greenup, Kentucky, one sister, LaVaughn Madden of Miamisburg, Ohio, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2016 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor, Kenny Martin, officiating. Burial will follow in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M.
