Dana Avanell Conley, 77, of Argillite, Kentucky passed away May 14, 2014 in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Ashland, Kentucky. She was born in Fullerton, Kentucky Dec. 19, 1936, a daughter of the late James Wicker and Lizzie McKenzie, attended Nazarene and Methodist Churches. Preceded in death by her husband, Felix L. Conley to whom she married Dec. 22, 1955, four brothers, Charles, Walter, Donald and Phil McKenzie, two sisters, Jolene Timberlake and Mary McKenzie. Surviving are one daughter, Oreta "Dwayne" May of Argillite, Kentucky, four sons, James Felix Conley of South Shore, Kentucky, Preston "Kim" Conley of Grayson, Kentucky, Michael Conley of Argillite, Kentucky and Felix Bunk "Sherry" Conley of Flatwoods, Kentucky, one brother, Paul Leo McKenzie of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, two sisters, Vickie Bentley of South Shore, Kentucky and Ruth Akers of Sciotoville, Ohio, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services 1 P.M. Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the South Shore Church of God, Second and Robbins, South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Scott Hill, officiating. Burial will be in MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the church from 6 P.M. till 9 P.M. Friday, May 16, 2014 and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Saturday.
