Mr. Dale Lloyd Stewart, 79, of South Shore, KY passed away on February 12th at home. He was born January 9, 1936 in Fullerton to the late Orville Oakley Stewart and Norma Wheeler Stewart. He attended White Oak Chapel Church. Mr. Stewart was a member of the Stewart Trio, Kentucky Colonel and Host of the Saturday Night Shindig on WPAY. He was also a former member of the South Shore KY Rotary Club. Mr. Stewart worked for 25 years with Massie Supermarket and was a former owner of Lucky's Dairy Bar. He worked for 25 years with Nourse Family of Dealerships and Coughlin Automotive where he retired in 2012. Mr. Stewart was the oldest of 10 children. He was preceded in death by sister Glenda Stewart and brother Clarence Stewart. Surviving is his loving wife of 42 years Sheril Pack Stewart; daughter Tammy (Chad) Taulbee of Wheelersburg, Ohio; son Anthony Stewart and friend James Gross of Winston Salem, NC and granddaughter Kylee Taulbee. Also surviving is three brothers Darrell Stewart of South Shore, KY, Talmadge Stewart of Hancock, MD and Michael (Patti) Stewart of Grove City, Ohio; four sisters Bernetta Horsley of Garrison, Linda Whisman of Portsmouth, Ohio, Pamela (Richard) Ash of Lucasville, Ohio and Arlene (Ronnie) Pierce of Otway, Ohio; 31 nieces and nephews, 72 great nieces and nephews and 26 great great nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Christine Hunt, Darrell Stewart and SOMC Cancer Center. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Friday and 1-3 pm on Saturday prior to the funeral at 3 pm at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Andy Ramey officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, KY. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.robersonfuneral.com.
