Creed Hall, 67, of South Shore, KY., has begun his eternal worship of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. His battle is over, his race is won. He left for his Heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH surrounded by family and friends. He was born September 26, 1956 in Ashland, KY., a son of the late Arlin and Darlene White Hall.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Arlin Hall JR and Dewayne Hall; one sister, Phyllis Stephens and one brother-in-law, Randall Hale.

Creed was an Army National Guard Veteran, retired Carman from CSX Railroad and a member of the MT Zion Apostolic Church in West Portsmouth, OH. He enjoyed U.K. Basketball, Ford trucks, animals, spending time with family and playing his guitar and singing, he always adored all the babies in the family and always made a beeline to hold them when he walked in the room.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years Dorothy Lyons Hall; five children, Christy (Andy) Clare of South Shore, KY., Kinsey (Ryan Sprinkle) Hall of Blue Creek, OH., Tiffany (David) Nickel of South Shore, KY., Cody (Kim) Riley of South Shore, KY., and Jasmine (Jorden) Colegrove of Greenup, KY; one sister, Kathy Hale of Greenup, KY; nine grandchildren, Ruby Frazier, Darcy Mayse, Josie Clare, Peyton Nickel, Jacob Nickel, Destiny Riley, Elaina Riley, Elijah Riley and Easton Creed Colegrove; one great grandchild, Sonny Frazier and several other family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 12 P.M. Saturday, August 17, 2024 at MT Zion Apostolic Church 1514 16th Street West Portsmouth, OH 45663 with Pastor George Gravely officiating. Burial will follow at Jesse D. Lyons Family Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, August 16, 2024 at the church from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. and one hour before the service on Saturday.
