Obituary

Conrad V. Cooper, 78 of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, passed away Oct. 5, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born Nov. 15, 1935 in Greenup County, Kentucky, a son of the late Earl Wayne Cooper and Thelma Marie Lancaster Cooper. Surviving are his wife, Roma Howerton Cooper to whom he married Jan. 15, 1955, one daughter, Beverly "Mike" Tucker of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, Jeffrey "Cheryl" Cooper of Wheelersburg, Ohio, four grandchildren, Shane Tucker, Carson Tucker, Jennifer "Tim" Cook and Karen Cooper, One great granddaughter, Lyla Cook, one sister, Monya Cooper Davis, a special niece, Donna McKenzie and his loving dog Dolly. Preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie "Bish" Cooper, Harold "Hobo" Cooper, Samuel "Lee" Cooper, two sisters, Delores Cooper Flannery and Dana Cooper Fritz. Funeral services will be held 1 P.M. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Rodney Evans, officiating. Burial will be in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2014 and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Wednesday.
