Connie L. Blankenbeckley, 73 of Firebrick, Kentucky passed away, Nov. 4, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her family. She was born in South Shore, Kentucky, May 27, 1948, a daughter of the late Willard Russell McGuire and Evelyn Ruth Lybrook McGuire. Connie was a retired teacher from the Lewis County School System and a member of the Temple Baptist Church in Portsmouth, Ohio.

Surviving are her husband of 56 years, David Blankenbeckley, one son, Ben (Tonia) Blankenbeckley of Westerville, Ohio, one daughter, Vanessa Bowen of Firebrick, Kentucky, grandchildren, Alexis (Seth) Jordan, Makaiya and Morgan Blankenbeckley, one brother, Russell McGuire of Virginia, three sisters, Shelva Jean Corns of Florida, Della (Bill) Ruggles of Quincy, KY and Debbie Galuk of Huntington, WV.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY with Rev. John Gowdy, officiating. Burial will follow in Firebrick Cemetery, Firebrick, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021 from 6 till 8 p.m. and one hour before the service time on Monday.
