Clifton L. May Jr., 71 of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away on Nov. 17, 2021 in St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was born in Spokane, Washington, Dec. 12, 1949, a son Nancy Bower May and the late Clifton L. May Sr. Clifton was a Decorated U.S. Army Veteran and a retired Union Electrician, a member of the Bible Chapel Church in West Portsmouth, Ohio.

Preceded in death besides his parents are one sister, Leann Moulton.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Debra Bretz May, three sons, Clifton (Melinda) May III of Rogersville, Tenn, Brian May of New Bern, North Carolina and Marc May of Portsmouth, Ohio, mother, Nancy May of Huntington, West Virginia, brothers, David (Marie) May of California, Donald May of Oklahoma, sisters, Margaret (Lin) Sansoucie of Missouri, Sally May of Texas and Cathy May of Mississippi, grandchildren, Colin May, Alexis May and Addison May.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2021 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North East, Grayson, Kentucky with Jack Lore, officiating.
