Charlotte Ann Dowdy, 76, of South Shore, KY., passed away August 11, 2014 in OSU Hospital in Columbus, OH. She was born November 21, 1937 in Portsmouth, OH a daughter of the late Rasho Conley and Opal Snyder Conley. Charlotte was a Homemaker and of the Christian Faith. Preceded in death besides her parents are her husband Wayne Dowdy SR., and one son David "Duke" Dowdy. Surviving are two sons Butch "Robin" Dowdy and Mark "Cindy" Dowdy, two daughters Teresa "Harold" Craycraft and Charmaine "Kenny" Kennard all of South Shore, KY., ten grandchildren Ryan Dowdy, Jaynie Dowdy, Lisa Stiles, Brandon Craycraft, Christopher Craycraft, Brett Kennard, Kody Kennard, Brittany Otworth, Amber Pate, and David Lee Dowdy, also nine Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Winford Fugate, officiating. Burial will follow in MT Zion Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home Thursday, August 14, 2014 from 6 P.M. till 8 P.M. and from 11 A.M. till the funeral hour on Friday.
