Charles E. Martin, 94, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, passed away Jan. 30, 2022 in SOMC Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Portsmouth, Jan. 19, 1928, a son of the late Charles W. Martin and Grace Toland Martin. Charles served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Bud Martin, two sisters, Lillian Smith and Doris Gearhart.

Surviving are his wife, Marilyn Webster Martin, children, Charles Martin Jr. of franklin Furnace, Ohio, Lacey wireman of South Shore, Kentucky and John Wireman of Greenup, Kentucky, several grandchildren and several great grandchildren, sister, Charlotte Martin Dunham of Wheelersburg, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with John Byard, officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Wheelersburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the Funeral Home on Monday from 6 till 8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Tuesday.
