Obituary

Charles Wayne Bostick, 87, of South Shore, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, Sept. 22, at the South Shore Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born July 4, 1930, to Vint and Laura Mae Heaberlin Bostick who preceded him in death. He was a United States Navy Veteran during Korean War. He was also preceded in death by his wives, Mary Rosier Bostick and Lucielle Dye Bostick. He was the last surviving sibling of his family of two brothers, Albert and Lloyd and five sisters, Louise Elswick, Marge Elkins, Ann Parker, Olive Hannah and Pauline Bowman. He is survived by three step sons, Dr. Kenneth Dye, Canton, NC; Michael Sapp, Ft. Pierce, Fl; and Ron Hamilton, Douglas, Mass. And two step daughters, Dianne Soethe, Vero Beach, Fl. and Ann Price, Easly, SC. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. He was of the Christian faith. He loved his family dearly and was a truly caring person to all. Memorial services will be held Sept. 29, 2017 at 6 P.M at Sunshine United Methodist Church in South Shore, Kentucky.
