Carolyn S. Aldridge Smith, 71, of Portsmouth, OH., formerly of South Shore, KY., passed away Monday, December 4, 2023 at Portsmouth Health & Rehab in Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Portsmouth, OH., June 23, 1952 a daughter of the late Ellis and Alberta Payton Aldridge.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Maddix.

Left behind to cherish her memory are two daughters, Cynthia (Michael) Brown of South Shore, KY., and Priscilla Smith of South Portsmouth, KY; five grandchildren, Ryan Robinson, Alexis Brown, Tabbatha Brown, Brandon Brown, Michael Brown and several other family and friends who will sadly miss her.

There will be a private family memorial service at a later date. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., are caring for arrangements.
