Obituary
Boyd Eugene Felty, 84, of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, passed away Jan. 24, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Firebrick, Kentucky, Dec. 22, 1931 a son of the late Oscar Felty and Melvina Fisher Felty, a Kentucky Colonel, loved UK Basketball, farming and was a former member of South Portsmouth United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by three brothers, Conroy, Ralph and Robert Felty, three sisters, Virginia Hannah, Thelma Lewis and Belva Felty.
Surviving are his wife, Justine Fetters Felty, one son, Jeffrey (Mary) Felty of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, one daughter, Penny Felty of Lloyd, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Spriggs and Dylan Felty, one great granddaughter, Emma Spriggs.
Gravesides services will be held 2 P.M. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2016 at the MT. Zion Cemetery with Rev. Kenneth Fox, officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Friends of Animals or Sierra's Haven both in Portsmouth, Ohio.
