Billie "Cookie" Stone, 72 of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 in Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Harold W. Gilbert and Clara Lee Dunaway-Gilbert. She was a member of the South Portsmouth, Kentucky Church of God, Emergency Technician, Homemaker and Mother, Grandmother, a friend to all. Surviving are one son, Kelly Stone, a stepson Joe Spence both of Portsmouth, Ohio; two daughters Candace Stone of South Bend, Indiana and Holly Stone of Grove City, Ohio; four brothers Joseph (Rosemary) Gilbert, Douglas Glibert both of Quincy, Kentucky, Richard (Beth) Gilbert of Blacksburg, Virginia and Ted (Treva) Gilbert of Vanceburg, Kentucky; two sisters Dorothy (Bill) Anderson of Lexington, Kentucky and Jennifer (Danny) Sargent of McDermott, Ohio; grandchildren Jeremy Stone, Nicholas Stone, Brittany Stone, Tyson Davis, Leigha Sargent, Jordan Sargent, Shelby Sargent, Jordan Davis and Kaleigh Davis, Special Friends Denise Zabawski, Char Sarratore and Angelia Combs as well as her dog "Reece". Preceded in death by a sister Crystal Dawn Gilbert. Funeral Services will be at the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel at 1 pm Friday, July 3, 2015 with Rev. Jim Brandenburg officiating. Burial will be in Crystal Dawn Cemetery in Quincy, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 pm – 8pm on Thursday, July 2, 2015 and from noon until the funeral hour on Friday.
