Billie Jo Carter, 76, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away on March 3, 2021 on Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Lagrange, Indiana, Sept. 23, 1944, a daughter of the late Ray Krebs and Nedra Hunter Krebs.

Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Sam Carter, one son, Todd (Wanda) Carter of Washington Courthouse, Ohio, one daughter, Samantha Carter of Cincinnati, Ohio, two sisters, Bobbi Sams of Lagrange, Indiana and Beth Barney of Falling Water, West Virginia, grandchildren, Tiffany (Josh) Carter Garringer, Sean Allen (Brandi) Carter and Theron Ray Carter and a host of extended family and friends. Billie was a loving and caring Christian, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandma and Friend to all that met her. Her pride and love for her grandchildren Sean, Theron and Tiffany is what truly made her glow with pride and joy.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. David Robirds, officiating. Burial will follow in Collier Memorial Gardens in South Portsmouth, Kentucky. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. till the service hour on Saturday. Due to Covid restrictions face coverings and social distancing are required.
