Barbara A. (Ray) Lyons, 80, of South Shore, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025. She was born on September 21, 1944, to the late Lorenzo Ray and Wilda (Sturgill) Traylor.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, David Lyons, four sisters: Belva, Linda, Harriett, and Gail, and one brother, Timothy.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Eva Lyons, of South Shore, Kentucky, and one sister, Phylis Hampton, of Portsmouth, Ohio, along with other family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Her passions were quilting, crossword puzzles, and her church family at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church in Greenup, Kentucky.

Funeral services will take place at Cornerstone Pentecostal Church, located at 740 KY-3307, Greenup, Kentucky, at 12:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025. Burial will immediately follow at the Ora Lyons Cemetery in South Shore, Kentucky, after the service.

Visitation will be held at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
