Barbara Jean Lyons, 71, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Sept. 15, 2014 in Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Chillicothe, Ohio, a daughter of the late Noah Bell and Virginia Lancaster Bell. Surviving are her husband, Tony Lyons Sr of South Shore, Kentucky, three daughters, Beverly "Tim" Walters of Garrison, Kentucky, Diana "Thomas" Turner of Portsmouth, Ohio, Sonya "Joe" Thurman of Vanceburg, Kentucky, two sons, Tony "Ginnie" Lyons Jr of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Daniel Lyons of South Shore, Kentucky, three brothers, Robert Bell of Campobello, South Carolina, Thomas Bell of Lake Milton, Ohio and Terry Bell of Dickinson, TX,  one sister, Jane Parker of Chillicothe, Ohio, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jolene Thurman, one brother, Dwight "Jr" Bell and one sister, Sandra Bell Turner. Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014 at The Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Pastor Gary Newman, officiating. Burial will follow in Lyons Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. on Friday, Sept. 19, 2014 at the Roberson Funeral Home and from 9 A.M. till the funeral hour on Saturday.
