Anthony Wayne "Tony" Flanery, 68, of Firebrick, KY., passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born in Wyandotte, MI., October 10, 1955 a son of the late Cleavie and Dolores Cooper Flanery.

Tony was a United States Army Veteran.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Sherry Dyer and one brother, Rick Flanery.

Left behind to cherish his memory are three sons, Michael (Debbie) Flanery, David (Roseva Hammond) Flanery and Mark Flanery; two sisters, Teena Munn and Tonya Cooper; six grandchildren, Brianna Flanery, Kyle Flanery, Hope (Zach) Flanery, Faith Flanery, Amanda Simpson and Kimber (Tiffany Justice) Campbell. Along with several great-grandchildren, family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Raymond Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Ford Cemetery in Firebrick, KY. Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday at the funeral home from 12 P.M. until the funeral hour.
