Anna Lee " Deedee" Timberlake Greenslate, 71 of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord, Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014 in Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Greenup Co. Kentucky, a daughter of the late Gladys (Chester) Morman Allen and Carl Timberlake, Surviving is her step mother, Lillian Timberlake of Portsmouth, Ohio.
Surviving are her husband, Joe W. Greenslate, Sr to whom she married Oct. 4, 1958, two sons, Joey W. (Christy) Greenslate Jr. and Chuck (Alisha Covert) Greenslate both of South Shore, Kentucky. Siblings, Artie Faye Boggs, Frieda A. Hacker both of South Shore, Kentucky and Debbie Stamm of West Union, Ohio., two grandchildren, Lindsey Jo Greenslate (Moore), Jody "Joe Bob" Greenslate, two great grandchildren, Josey Moore and Jordy Moore.
Preceded in death by a brother, Charles H. Timberlake.
Anna Lee, attended Bennetts Chapel Church, a Homemaker and she loved to sing, Deedee enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She also loved ceramics, crocheting, quilting with her sister.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Sunday at the Roberson Funeral Home, with Elder, Leonard McGlone and Rev. Brent Barrett, officiating. Burial will follow in Brickunion Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Roberson Funeral Home from 6 till 8 P.M. Saturday and from noon till the Funeral hour on Sunday.
