Anna Lou Amburgey 82, of South Shore, KY., passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born September 12, 1934 in South Shore, KY., a daughter of the late Raymond and Hope Porter Hunt.

She was a member of the South Shore Church of God and a Homemaker.

Besides her parents she is preceded in death by one sister Doris Young.

Surviving are her husband Joseph B. Amburgey SR., who she married December 24, 1958, one son Joseph B. (Kathy) Amburgey JR., of Wheelersburg, OH., and one Grandson Joseph B. Amburgey III. Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother she will be missed by many family and friends.

Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Sunday, April 30, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Acy Gibson officiating. Burial will follow at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
