Alma Spriggs, 92, of South Shore, Kentucky passed away Dec. 25, 2015 in Southern Ohio Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born in Morgan County, Kentucky, Sept. 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Floyd Wolfenbarger and Florence Keaton Wolfenbarger, retired from Southern Ohio Medical Center Dietary Dept, Foodland of South Shore, a homemaker and mother. Preceded in Death by her husband, Harry King Spriggs, Oct. 7, 1985, two sons, Harry Lee Spriggs and Steve Spriggs, sister, Thelma Spriggs, brothers, Ralph and Randy Wolfenbarger, grandson, Jackie Boyd. Surviving are three daughters, Judy Maynard of Greenup, Kentucky, Carolyn Locher of West Portsmouth, Ohio and Donna Bloomfield of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, one sister, Mary Lou Hamilton of South Shore, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2 P.M. Monday, Dec. 28, 2015 at the MT. Zion Cemetery, South Shore, Kentucky with Rev. Mark Lilly, officiating. This was Alma's wishes.
