Agnes Marie Roberts, 81, of South Shore, KY., passed away Sunday, October 9, 2016 at SOMC Hospice Care Center in Portsmouth, OH. She was born December 8, 1934 in Denton, KY., a daughter of the late Leonard and Sarah Stanley Adkins. Agnes was a retired Nurses Aid from SOMC Home Health and was of the Christian Faith. Preceded in death by three brothers Clifford Adkins, Bill Adkins, Hager Adkins and one sister Carolyn Baugess. Surviving are her three daughters Debbie (Skip) Allen, Tammy (Johnny) Nelson and Lorilee Stephenson all of South Shore, KY., three sons Allen (Shari) DeHart of Lucasville, OH., Paul (Mary) DeHart of South Shore, KY., and Tony (Kim) DeHart of Franklin Furnace, OH., six sisters Jenny Stone, Louise Hignite, Phyllis Bair, Beverly Griffith, Stella Dinkens, all of Grayson, KY., and Gladus Ross of Centrallia, IL. Agnes is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and many other family and friends who will miss her. Graveside services will be 1 P.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Siloam Cemetery in South Shore, KY., with Rev. Bob Sweeney officiating.
