Dr. Adrian N. Collins, 89, of South Shore, KY, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 in Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born in Johnson County, KY, June 26, 1929, a son of the late Adrian Collins and Edna B. Nunnery. Dr. Collins was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Graduate of University of Kentucky and Louisville Medical School, then went on to own and operate his family practice in South Shore, KY., for 40 years.

Surviving are his wife, Doris S. Collins to whom he married, Dec. 4, 1953, two sons, James Adrian of South Shore, Kentucky, Dr. John Greggory and his wife Jayme Leigh of Raleigh, North Carolina, two daughters, Fran Stevenson of Nashville, Tenn. and Mary Collins Barrey of Raleigh, North Carolina. Five grandchildren, Andrew Collins, Abbey E. Maxwell, Kimberly Kromer, Kara M. Collins and Nicolas Barrey, three great-grandchildren, David, Daniel and Dean Collins.

Funeral services will be held 6 P.M. Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Eulogy by James Adrian Collins. Friends may call Thursday from 3 P.M. until the funeral hour at the Funeral Home.
