Leonard Carl Parson, 76, of Quincy, Kentucky, passed away Feb. 1, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky, Feb. 24, 1941, a son of the late Willie Estill Parson and Ermal Miller Parson. Loved to work on lawn mowers.

Preceded in death by his wife, Patty S. Parson, Nov. 25, 2017, two brothers, Glenn Parson and Elwood Parson, one sister, Eldean Parson.

Surviving are one son, Carl E. Parson of Quincy, Kentucky, one daughter, Peggy Rister of Quincy, Kentucky, and son in law Joe Rister of Quincy, Kentucky, three brothers, Robert Parson of Quincy, Kentucky, Curtis Parson of Garrison, Kentucky, Dennis Parson of Portsmouth, Ohio, two sisters, Violet Royster of New Carlisle, Ohio, Inez Burns of Garrison, Kentucky, two grandchildren, Joey Rister and Kyle Parson, three great-grandchildren, Dylon Rister, Jaxon Rister and Ella Parson.

Funeral services will be held 1 P.M.  Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky with Brother Jack Carver, officiating. Burial will follow in Granny Thomas Cemetery, Garrison, Kentucky. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 11 A.M. till the Funeral hour at 1 P.M.
